We will discuss the origins of yoga, and explore the different pillars including breath (pranayama), movement (asana), meditation, and internal and external philosophy. When going through poses, we will connect the breath and movement, and will learn the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. By the end of the series, participants will understand the importance of personal agency and self-trust in yoga practice, and know how to modify and adapt key poses, and how to incorporate yoga in their daily lives.
